Trade Routes and Transportation Networks

The Aztec Empire traded with many people, primarily the Spansih. The map below shows different trade routes that they had with the Spanish. The Aztecs thrived in agriculture, and traded crops. They traded corn, beans, and squash. They also traded solid goods like jewelry, wood, and medicine. 

There are three main cities in the Aztec Empire; Tenochtitlan, Texoco, and Tlacopan. The main states were Tarascans, Tlaxcala, Mixtec, Teotitlan, and Zapotec. These were the main states of the Aztec Empire.
